The venue opened in 2012 and helps meet the need for quality concert venues in the Atlanta area. Capacity is 625, typically standing room only. The viewing area includes a small balcony for an elevated view but is only suitable for a couple rows of people to see the stage. The concert area opens at one side to Stationside Restaurant, which includes tables and a reasonable listening area without a view of the stage. Those seeking a break from the music might also watch a train passing by at the rear.
Parking:
Parking is provided on-site in an easily accessible lot and two level deck. Cost is $10.
Restaurants:
Southside serves primarily sliders and a variety of tacos, and similar bite sized food. The intersection of Brady Ave and Howell Mill Road is nearby and walkable, with a variety of restaurants including The Optimist, a highly regarded but pricier option ($$$) and Le Fat Vietnamese. Reservations are open for both. New restaurants are moving into the area and are either walkable or a short enough drive that getting to the venue in time for a show should not be a concern.
